1. What should I expect on my first visit?
On your first massage visit you will be asked to fill out a health/intake form. Please allow a few minuets prior to your visit to go over any illnesses or medication that may interfere with receiving a massage. This is to find out what areas you would like worked on and if massage is appropriate for you.

2. What do I wear for a massage?
Depending on the type of massage you may choose to undress to your comfort level. You will be draped with a sheet or blanket and covered at all times except the area being worked on. For reflexology only the feet need to be exposed.

3. Is massage always appropriate?
No, there are several health conditions that would make massage inappropriate. That is why it is necessary to fill out the health form. It is also very important to list all medications you are currently taken. Before a massage is given a recommendation or approval may be needed from your doctor if any health problem is present.

4. How will massage/reflexology affect me?
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience freedom from long term pains and other may experience the "hurts so good pain" for a short period afterwards. After initial period of feeling slowed down, people often feel an increase in energy, heightened awareness and greater productivity. Since toxins are released from soft tissues during massage it is recommended you drink plenty of water following treatments.
